Vivian Akinyi Komullo – Guardian of the Goal

Vivian and her identical twin sister, Sharon Aluoch, grew up in the Mathare slums of Nairobi. Introduced to football by their older brother, they initially played as midfielders. However, Vivian transitioned to goalkeeper after her coach consistently selected Sharon ahead of her. The twins attended Sega Girls High School on a football scholarship before transferring to Maina Wanjigi High School. They also played for True Colours FC in the Mathare Youth Sports Association. 🏆 Career Highlights International Debut: 2014, earning her first call-up to the Harambee Starlets. Africa Women Cup of Nations (AWCON): Represented Kenya in the 2016 edition held in Cameroon. Club Career: Started with Mathare United, then moved to Gaspo Women FC, where she served as team captain before being appointed manager in late 2022.
