Wanjiru Mbugua-Karani: Pioneering Tennis Leadership in Kenya and Africa

Wanjiru Mbugua-Karani is a former Kenyan tennis champion who has transitioned into influential sports administration roles. She currently serves as the Secretary-General of Tennis Kenya and was appointed as Team Kenya's CEO for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Her leadership extends beyond national boundaries; in October 2023, she was elected Vice President of the Confederation of African Tennis (CAT), becoming the first woman to hold this position.
